κατ-εῖπον (s. εἶπον), gegen Einen sprechen, anklagen; μὴ πρὸς ϑεῶν ἡμῶν κατείπῃς Ar. Pax 376, öfter; μὴ μέντοι μου κατείπῃς πρὸς τοὺς ἄλλους Plat. Theaet. 149 a, wie Xen. Hem. 2, 6, 33 u. Luc. Calumn. 2. – Geradheraus sagen, angeben, an. zeigen, ansagen; πατέρα κατειπών Eur. Ion. 1345; Med. 589; c. partic., μή μου κατείπῃς σῷ κασιγνήτῳ πόσιν ἥκοντα Hel. 898; φέρε νυν κατείπω τοῖς ϑεαταῖς τὸν λόγον Ar. Vesp. 54; Her. 1, 20; Plat.
